The third Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory/Wellcome Trust conference on Genomic Perspectives to Host Pathogen Interactions will be held at the Wellcome Trust Conference Centre on the Wellcome Trust Genome Campus in Hinxton, UK. The meeting will begin in the afternoon of Wednesday September 3 (3pm), and end with a banquet on Friday evening, with departure on Saturday morning, September 6, 2008.
The focus for this conference is on how the rapid expansion in host, pathogen and vector genome data and other large data sets is changing the way we think about host-pathogen-(vector) interactions. Topics include: PATHOGENS free-living / facultative / opportunistic / epizootic / obligate / intracellular HOST NICHE/DEFENSE lung / GI / urogenital / skin / muscle / CNS blood / lymph / other VECTORS genomes / biology / ecology

All registrations and abstracts MUST be submitted by the abstract deadline, June 11, 2008. Late registration may be accepted after the abstract deadline if the meeting is not oversubscribed. In the event of over subscription, every effort will be made to ensure that all groups who wish to participate will be represented. Status (talk/poster) of abstracts will be posted on our web site as soon as decisions have been made by the organizers.
