9-12 June 2010
This meeting provides a common forum for malaria scientists and clinicians working at the interface of genome science and technology, clinical epidemiology, and statistical epidemiology and genetics, with interest in understanding the clinical and biological consequences of genome variation in malaria-exposed populations. Topics will include genomic epidemiology of the host, vector and parasite, highlighting the practical relevance of this research to global health, including anti-malarial drug resistance, insecticide resistance, vaccine design, and mechanisms of protective immunity.
